Hi, I’m Bryan — firefighter, professional first responder instructor, Red Cross Training Partner, and owner of First Aid Works Inc. I’ve spent 10 years responding to emergencies on the front lines and have helped thousands of students and hundreds of workplaces across Ontario become certified in First Aid, CPR, and workplace safety. First Aid Works Inc. is owner-operated. I teach on-site across Southern Ontario, and when a larger group or multi-site day needs more hands, I bring in a small team of qualified contract instructors — including Cameron, our senior instructor. Every course is practical, engaging, and focused on building confidence, as designed by the Red Cross.

FAQ
Yes. On-site first aid training is the business. We teach WSIB First Aid, CPR, and BLS at your shop, plant, office, clinic, or yard across Southern Ontario. One visit, or a recurring date as certificates come due.
Most Ontario sites with 6 or more workers on a shift need Intermediate First Aid, the course WSIB used to call Standard First Aid. Sites with 1–5 per shift can use Basic First Aid, formerly Emergency First Aid. Healthcare and dental teams book BLS. Put the headcount in the form if you are unsure.
Yes. We come to businesses in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, London, Brantford, Burlington, and across Southern Ontario. There is no public classroom. The training happens at your site.
Yes for workplace First Aid and CPR C, in one on-site visit. Recertification needs an original Red Cross certificate that has not expired, and those employees skip the online portion. BLS and BLS Renewal are separate sessions.
Yes. Group CPR and AED can be booked on its own or with First Aid. BLS and BLS Renewal are for clinics, dental offices, and healthcare teams. We come to the workplace. New BLS and renewals are separate sessions.
WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, confined space awareness, lock-out tag-out, fire safety, and the rest of the Canadian Red Cross online list are in the shop. First Aid and CPR for a group are booked here. Blended courses finish the online theory before we arrive. Online purchases are non-refundable once the login is sent.
Yes. As of June 22, 2026, WSIB calls Emergency First Aid “Basic First Aid” and Standard First Aid “Intermediate First Aid.” Certificates under the old names stay valid until they expire.
