Frequently Asked Questions

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is included in every course we offer — whether you choose Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid.
If you only need CPR, you can book that on its own.
If your workplace requires First Aid, you’ll need to add Emergency First Aid or Standard First Aid, which include CPR and AED training.
Emergency First Aid covers basic lifesaving skills.
Standard First Aid is more in-depth and is the most commonly required level in Ontario.
Both are WSIB-approved and certified by the Canadian Red Cross. -
We offer both as blended courses — meaning you do a portion online, then join us for a one-day in-class session at our Kitchener studio.
Emergency First Aid: 4 hours online + 4 hours in class
Standard First Aid: 8 hours online + 8 hours in class
(You must complete the online module before the in-class day.)
Standard First Aid includes more topics, such as head and spine injuries, environmental emergencies, and more — it's the preferred option for most jobs in Ontario.

Employers in Ontario must ensure First Aid is available at all workplaces.
1–5 workers per shift: at least one with Emergency First Aid
6+ workers per shift: at least one with Standard First Aid
We help businesses meet these requirements with public courses and on-site group training.
