Course Details

Duration:

  • Standard First Aid & CPR C: 13–14 hours (2 days in-class).

  • Blended First Aid: 8 hours online + 5.5–7.5 hours in-class.

Course Content Includes:

  • The Red Cross principles and preparing to respond.

  • The EMS system and emergency action steps (Check, Call, Care).

  • Airway, breathing, and circulation emergencies.

  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest.

  • Wound care, head/spine injuries, and bone/muscle/joint injuries.

  • Medical emergencies, environmental emergencies, and poisons (including opioid poisoning).

  • Additional topics required by local legislation.

Certification and Recertification:

  • Initial Certification: Valid for 3 years upon successful completion.

  • Recertification: 6.5–7.5 hours, includes CPR Level A or C and AED (meets local legislation).
